Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an event management company in Cardiff

The Office Manager is a FTC for 9 months with real potential to become permanent.

This role is initially remote with a phased return to work, at the Cardiff office, from October 2021


The salary is circa £25,000 per annum

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chairman, Managing Directors and senior team as required. In particular around the organisation and scheduling of meetings and appointments.
  • Handle a variety of non-financial business administration duties
  • Serve as the point person for maintenance, mailing, supplies and equipment
  • Partner with Directors to maintain office policies as necessary
  • Manage relationships with office suppliers, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
  • Manage submission of VAT returns with accountants
  • Manage invoicing and payments to suppliers
  • Provide general support to visitors

Requirements

  • Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
