Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an event management company in Cardiff
The Office Manager is a FTC for 9 months with real potential to become permanent.
This role is initially remote with a phased return to work, at the Cardiff office, from October 2021
The salary is circa £25,000 per annum
Responsibilities
- Support the Chairman, Managing Directors and senior team as required. In particular around the organisation and scheduling of meetings and appointments.
- Handle a variety of non-financial business administration duties
- Serve as the point person for maintenance, mailing, supplies and equipment
- Partner with Directors to maintain office policies as necessary
- Manage relationships with office suppliers, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
- Manage submission of VAT returns with accountants
- Manage invoicing and payments to suppliers
- Provide general support to visitors
Requirements
- Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
