Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Office manager to join my client who has had over 25 years experience within their industry as a maintenance provider based in Leicester at Meridian. In return my client is offering a competitive salary range £27,000 - £30,000 per annum with free parking, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and between Christmas and New year off as additional.

The Role and Typical Tasks
You will be responsible for looking after the office and managing the teams and up to 55 members of staff. This is a varied role and perfect for someone who wants to be kept busy and challenged.

Daily duties involve:-
HR - Doing all inductions, holidays and sick pay requests, reviews and disciplinaries of 55 staff 20 of which are operative staff who are on the road.

Doing the payroll of the team

Managing the health and safety of the office and ensuring procedures are adhered to and updated

Facilities management of the office, scheduling call outs

Overseeing all the teams in the office and being the indirect manager of the operative staff.

Managing the sales and accounts inbox regarding orders/enquires and delegating ensuring emails are being actioned.

Hours
These are on a shift pattern of 3 days 8-5 and 2 days 9-6 Monday-Friday

Person Specification
Driver
Must be able to prioritise their own workload
Can multi task
Have excellent verbal and written communication
Must have at least 2 year experience in office management
A strong attention to detail
Flexible, punctual reliable and trustworthy
Stable work history
Positive, friendly, approachable, able to work as part of a team
Good IT skills and can pick things up quickly
