Our client is a professional and busy Underwriters based in the heart of the City and they are urgently recruiting for an experienced Facilities/Office Services Manager to join them asap to work full-time in the office 5 days a week- hours 8.30-5.30

This is a very important role within the company, particularly as they are taking on another floor in October and opening up their offices for hybrid working from September where, working closely with IT , you will manage the office moves/staff reintegration etc.
You will be ensuring all areas of the building are Covid secure and you will be working closely with their cleaning contractors to ensure this is organised correctly. It is vital that you have experience of ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are in place and you will ideally have either IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications
You will in fact be working closely with all their external contractors and will have responsibility for all facility and office related services and contracts, including the performance of supplier's and control of costs. These services include; cleaning, office maintenance, photocopiers, vending machines, office suppliers, couriers and archiving
However, this role is still very hands on and you will be dealing with all the post.franking and scanning as well as trying to deal with any office maintenance issues personally before calling in an outside contractor
As well as all this they need someone who has worked within a Facilities supervisor role previously as you will be responsible for a small team of 3. A highly personable, patient, willing and unflustered approach to your work and colleagues is key.
