Job Description
My government based client is looking for 2 x Executive officers to join their team in their Manchester offices.
This is a full time position working 37 hours per week on a 6 month contract, at an hourly rate of £12.88 per hour.
Duties include but not restricted to
o Management of junior staff within the team, accurately contributing to performance and staff attendance management procedures
o Undertaking daily workflow shift management duties, ensuring prompt and fair allocation of work to team members.
o Scheduling and performing EM case reviews in line with immigration bail policy and making appropriate decisions regarding the commencement, variation, and cessation of EM conditions
o Consideration of representations made by individuals and their legal team regarding the application of EM and providing written responses which set out evidence-based decisions and a person-centered approach in each case
o Coordinating the response to failed EM commencements in line with published guidance and proposing the next course of action subject to the facts of the case.
o Coordinating appropriate response to EM breach activity in line with internal guidance. This may include pursuit of section 24 prosecution action and the preparation of evidence
o Providing decision assurance for junior team members, thus ensuring that relevant immigration policy is consistently adhered to, and that decision escalation is pursued where appropriate
o Supporting senior managers by contributing to the Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) processes to ensure accurate and consistent EM decisions
o Actively supporting senior managers with the continuous improvement of internal business processes and procedures required to deliver EM for service users
o Coordination and publishing of legislative communications for internal and external stakeholders, including service users.
There is an enhanced level clearance required for this role, that can take upto 6 weeks to be completed, along with a 3 year work and/or education history required.
