Job Description

Due to a period of growth and progression, I am seeking a competent, professional and passionate senior manager to lead my client's children's care division.

You will become a crucial member of the senior management team for a specialist provider of care and support for children and young adults and provide effective leadership across their services within the Midlands.

Employed on a full time basis you will take the lead in service delivery, improvement and development. You will have a proven track record of delivering good and outstanding OFSTED ratings and use your experience in these areas to inspire and drive your staff team to follow suit.

This is a multi-site role, so you will need to be flexible, splitting your time between external multi-disciplinary team meetings, head office and your services.

You will oversee commercial and financial responsibilities, adapting to the changing needs of the market and considering the needs of the people you support at all times.


Excellent communication skills, adaptability and great sense of humour all go hand in hand with this vacancy and the company's person centred ethos.

To be considered, you must:

* Demonstrate a proven background within children's residential care services - specifically experience of supporting children and young people with a learning or physical disability diagnosis

* Hold a relevant care management qualification

* Have an excellent track-record with OFSTED and can demonstrate proven good and outstanding ratings

* Hold a full UK driving licence, have access to your own vehicle and be flexible to travel across multiple sites.

Although not essential, if you have a nursing qualification with mental health and/or learning disabilities and proven experience of management of children's service, this too will be considered.

As operations manager, you will receive a salary circa £45000 D.O.Em as well as broad benefits packages to include, health benefits, pension, access to retail discounts and more.
