OPERATIONS MANAGER

£28,000 - £32,000

EXCELLENT ROLE WITH CLIENT-MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Brook Street (UK) Ltd has been engaged by a global organisation operating in Northern Ireland to secure an Operations Manager for one of their Belfast sites.

The Operations Manager will be partly-responsible for managing the contract the organisation has with one of their many major clients. Key elements of this role will be ensuring that the KPIs are achieved and that the client is satisfied that the organisation is performing as expected in relation to the contract.

The successful candidate will be accustomed to a KPI-driven environment and working very closely with clients. The Operations Manager will be based with their team on their client's site and so will be liaising with their client continually throughout each working day.

The Operations Manager will benefits from working within a global organisation, a salary of £30,000, 28 days' holidays, and free on-site car parking.

Duties in this role will include:
Operating within a KPI-driven environment
Conducting all core operations management activities
Dealing with and reviewing a work stack which can fluctuate
Identifying resource-planning needs
Working with the client management team and colleagues on a daily basis
Managing a team of 30 colleagues including one Team Leader
Supporting the recruitment of new hires
Securing assistance from dedicated HR and Recruitment support functions
Completing regular performance reviews with all team members (assisted by a Team Lead) including a monthly 121
Devising and implementing PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans)
Ensuring time and attendance records are maintained
Dealing with HR-related matters e.g. grievance cases, disciplinary cases etc

The hours of work for this role are normal business hours, the days of work for this role are Monday to Friday but there will be some requirements to cover a Saturday shift when operational needs demand. This role will be mostly site-based on the outskirts of Belfast but there may be some opportunity to work from home based on business needs.
