Operations Manager - Children's Residential Care
Location: Mersyside
Salary: from £70,000 per annum + benefits

Are you an experienced senior leader within children's residential care looking for your next strategic challenge?
We are working in exclusive partnership with a well-established children's residential care provider to recruit an Operations Manager for their growing service in Merseyside.


The Opportunity


As Operations Manager, you will provide strategic and operational oversight across a group of children's residential homes, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and performance. You will play a pivotal role in driving quality, supporting Registered Managers, and contributing to the organisation's continued development and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and performance management to Registered Managers
  • Drive compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations
  • Monitor and improve quality standards across services
  • Lead on safeguarding, risk management, and continuous improvement
  • Support occupancy growth and business development objectives
  • Develop and mentor management teams
  • Ensure services consistently deliver outstanding care and outcomes


About You

  • Proven senior leadership experience within children's residential care
  • Strong working knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and regulatory standards
  • Track record of managing multiple homes/services
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
