Job Description

I have currently have an amazing opportunity to join a fantastic organisation that focus on the support and care of adults with learning disabilities. They are seeking an Operations Manager that will be responsible for overseeing between 4-6 sites delivering supported living for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health issues and complex needs.

Registered managers and deputy managers will report into you and together you will work together to ensure all areas of the business including HR, staffing, policies, and procedures are to a high working standard and that person centred care is always at the forefront of everything.

Your key responsibilities will consist of but not be limited to;
Work closely with the Head of Operations and Housing, Operations Manager and Senior Management team to develop and apply the strategy for the services.

Identify opportunities for improved performance of the existing services and future developments.

To enhance the profile and credibility of the services by developing positive relationships and partnerships with local authorities, families, and other professionals.

To participate in promotional campaigns and marketing to ensure that the supported living services maximise their opportunities.

Ensure that all supported living services are prepared and ready for the regulatory body inspections.

To liaise with other key senior managers and departments within the organisation to ensure their role delivery and activity meets the agreed expectation of the company.

To safeguard all the people we support and to ensure good safeguarding procedures and principles are in place and applied consistently as per local safeguarding policies.

To work with Deputy Managers to ensure that referrals and applications are made as and when necessary and within the set times.


To be successful within this role then you must have at least 5 years` experience in a multi-site role. Have a strong background in learning disabilities, autism and/ or mental health. Experience with CQC frameworks. Have a professional qualification such as a QCF level 5 and a full, clean driving license.
