A unique and exciting opportunity exists to join a new and fast-growing business based in the Highlands as an Operations Technician.

Job Purpose:
As an Operation Technician you will responsible for the manufacture and assembly of products according to customer specifications. The products are state of the art and assist all types of people with their day to day lives.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and reviews operating procedures for approval and implementation in line with Company standards and statutory requirement.
• Analyses production performance data to ensure the factory is performing efficiently and In line with contracted requirements. Producing reports and recommendations on the findings.
• Identifies and reports plant/equipment defects and operating abnormalities, raising and progressing work order defects through the maintenance system.
• Partakes in HSES reporting and initiatives.
• Assist in the changeovers and setup of the new production equipment.

Competencies:
This is a largely process driven role, but the successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work safely with a minimum of supervision and display capability of thinking on their feet. Training will be given to the successful candidate.

The role requires interaction with the whole team. Good English literacy and communication skills are essential.

An engineering or a production background is preferred but a willingness to learn and develop new skills along with flexibility are paramount. IT skills form a large part of this role and ability to use MS Excel to a good standard would be advantageous.
