Job Description

My client is looking for a full time Order Picker to work in their Team.


The role is within a family run business, friendly team, looking for a logical person, strong analytical skills, enthusiasm to learn and willingness to progress within the company is essential for this role.

Order Picker


You will be responsible for the efficient picking of customer orders, preparing them for dispatch and making sure the warehouse is kept tidy at all times during the day.


Key Responsibilities


Will include but are not limited to: -
Picking customer orders quickly, accurately and safely
Packing, Labelling and weighing all packed boxes and pallets ready for dispatch
General housekeeping of the picking areas
To complete final checks of finished orders before you request final sign off for dispatch.
Support any other business activities, projects and undertake any other duties if requested from time to time.


Competencies


Ideally working experience as a warehouse worker.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to lift objects.
Attention to detail
Good Communication Skills
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Desirable Skills
Current forklift licence.


Personal Profile
Possess Energy, Drive, Ambition & focus on results
Methodical and logical mind with a keen attention to detail
Highly organised with excellent time management skills


Qualifications


Preferably literate and must be numerically accurate


Job Type: Full-time, permanent
This role will be 42.5 hours a week and will be £18,100 - £18,200
