Brook Street are recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to join our established client based in Central Derby. This is a great opportunity to join this welcoming group on an initial temporary contract, with the view for this to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Role - Sewing Machinist
Location - Central Derby
Hours - 8am-5pm (Monday-Thursday), 8am-2pm (Friday)
Pay rate - £9.50 per hour
Duration - 12 weeks, with a view to a permanent position

What we are looking for -

- Experience within a similar role would be desirable, however an enthusiasm for producing high quality work is essential
- Keen eye for detail
- Understanding of health and safety in the workplace
- Outgoing individual who can work well in a team

The role -

This position will be focused on overlocking various materials to a high standard, ensuring that the finished product passes the various quality checks required. Although experience would be beneficial, full training will be given to candidates who show the right attitude to this role and want to progress themselves.

This will be an initial 12-week temporary position with a permanent job on offer for those who excel withing this role. Immediate starts are available.
