Job Description

Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of an esteemed government organisation for experienced PA for a long term temporary contract.

Our client is based in the Cumbria area, and whilst these roles will be working from home for the foreseeable future, they would expect candidates to live within a commutable distance to be able to travel to the office when deemed safe to.

The role will be working alongside other executive PA's supporting the executive teams. Duties will include;
" Minute meetings.
" Dealing with general admin enquires.
" Updating correspondence tracker.
" Mail Management.
" Act as first point of contact for any queries (in person or telephone), delegating to appropriate person within Management Team where appropriate.
" Typing.
" Filing / Photocopying.
" Stationary ordering.
" Chasing and monitoring of actions.
" Co-ordination of travel arrangements in line with the LLWR Ltd travel process.
" Maintain and efficient electronic/paper filing system.
" Provide a professional service to internal/customers to agreed standards.
" Maintain information storage and retrieval processes and systems.
" Carry out designated work packages to meet standards of safety, cost, time and quality under supervision and / or guidance.
" To contribute to the improvement of a safe environment/good housekeeping or working area,
particularly in their own area of responsibility.
" Identify recommendations for continuous improvements.
" Where appropriate, assist in the training of others to an appropriate standard.
" Maintain good contacts with customers/stakeholders at all levels internal and external to the company.
" Complies with all legislative regulatory and company procedures and standards, e.g. safety, quality, risk, security etc. appropriate to the role.
" Cover for absent colleagues.

Successful candidates will have extensive experience working in a PA role, must be proactive and always looking for work, proficient to work with MS packages including PowerPoint and Excel and excellent communication skills both written and oral.

Working hours are Hours are Monday-Friday 37 per week, working hours 8:10am - 4:20pm, the hourly rate of pay is £16.42 per hour

Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft teams so access to a laptop or smart phone for interview will be required.
