Job Description

HM Treasury -PA
Location: Leeds (home working at present)
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)
Pay: £17.00 per hour

This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.

An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Personal Assistant for HM Treasury. The role will be working from home but also going into the office some of the week potentially. The candidate MUST be based in Leeds. The hours are Monday - Friday, 9-5, 37 hours per week. The pay is £17 per hour, and the role will be running for 3 months on a temporary contract, with a view to extend.

Responsibilities include: - Proactively managing diaries using judgement to prioritise the most important meetings; - Arranging meetings in most efficient order; - Sort out any travel or other logistics; -Proactively manage an in box and phone calls to prioritise the most important and /or urgent messages and draw attention to them - filter accordingly; - Prioritise daily to ensure the executives are clear what is on their agenda for the day and the coming week, and where they need to arrive for each of their appointments, intervening in meetings where appropriate to pull the executive out and keep their day on track; - Take the initiative to develop and lead relationships with key external and internal stakeholders. Please note that the successful candidate for this role will need to undergo extensive pre-employment checks.
