Job Description

My public Sector Client based in Birmingham City Centre is looking for a PA & Diary Secretary to provide experienced and professional support for their department. The role is paying £8.63 and then £10.84 in the 13th working week. This role would be full time, from Monday to Friday.

This will be a challenging, varied and fast-paced role, so to be successful you must be able to thrive in a dynamic environment and be motivated. You should also be well organised, pro-active and professional with excellent attention to detail. You must also be aware of confidentiality and conduct your position with tact and sensitivity as you may well be dealing with confidential matters.

Excellent communication skills and initiative are a must together with an ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. You will be required to diary manage, book meeting rooms and also prepare agendas and also handouts for meetings where necessary. As the main liaison point for the team you need to be confident in answering queries and escalating to the correct individual if required.

Your role would ultimately be to provide full experienced administrative support for the department therefore having a strong grasp on Microsoft Office is a must.
