The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
" Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report
" Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
" Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required
" Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
" Preparing routine correspondence
Typical qualifications and experience:
" Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
" NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
" Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
" Good communication skills, both oral and written
" Job title code: Secretarial.
" The PA is responsible for the secretarial and administrative support function to MPP Director and the S02 Support. They must have good IT and communication skills, able to work unsupervised, highly organised, and a good team player.
" They will be required to undertake the following tasks as part of the role:
" Provision of secretarial and administrative service including mailbox management ensuring at all times that communication is prioritised and brought to the MPPDirector's attention at the earliest opportunity
" Carry out duties involving photocopying, filing, faxing and post as required.
" Management of any group mailbox as required
" Day to day management of diaries including telephone liaison ? including making, confirming and cancelling appointments as necessary and making sure it is up to date at all times.
" Arrange and facilitate meetings ensuring key stakeholders are available
" Collation of papers for meetings/daily packs.
" Travel Management - Arrange all travel and accommodation as required ensuring all hotels, rail, flights, taxis and car hire are booked such that VFM is met at all times.
" Support line manager and team in maintaining stakeholder information and contacts
" Day-to-day interaction with stakeholders offices/staff
" Responsible for management of hard and soft copy filing.
" To provide PA and admin support to the 2* MPP Director and his S02 Support.
