Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our client to recruit a Paraplanner. This is a permanent role based in Maidenhead.

Salary: up to 30K based on experience

Job Description
Supporting the Financial Planner in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives. Managing the preparation of Client Financial Plans, cash flow modelling and Suitability Reports. Supporting the Financial Planner in preparing Client financial plans and suitability reports. Research and analysis of financial products to meet Client requirements. Contribute towards the research as a member of the Investment Committee. Be part of the Investment Committee - Essential that candidate has strong investment knowledge and understanding. FCA related and other regulatory issues. Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities. Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs. Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally. Preparing and maintaining the client file. Assisting other paraplanner team members where required. Ability to work on own initiative. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
Preparing the appropriate packs for Financial Planner/client meeting(s), to include full documentation and necessary paperwork to fulfil the client's needs/requirements and our regulatory compliance obligations. Sitting on the Investment Committee - Researching funds, monitoring current model portfolios. Researching products available in the market, selecting those that are most appropriate for the respective client's financial needs, priorities and overall financial position Ensuring compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, escalating any breaches or concerns to the Compliance Officer in a timely manner will full and accurate information Maintaining and proactively securing product, technical and regulatory knowledge to enhance personal performance.

Candidate Requirements
Three years experience working as a paraplanner

Qualifications
CII Diploma Status
