Our client is looking to recruit a Junior Executive Officer to join the team at their offices in Leeds City Centre. This is an ongoing temporary position.
Interested (Government Legal Department) are the governments principal legal advisers. They are in place to ensure the government are interested well within the rule of law.
" Provide legal litigation support by corresponding with courts, clients, counsel, experts and witnesses in furtherance of legal claims as directed.
" Understand the CPR and carry out administrative functions under the rules when instructed by a lawyer/case holder
" Carry out simple investigations into claims.
" Prepare instructions/briefs for Counsel, Agents, Experts and Investigators.
" Prepare summary assessments of costs for court.
" Prepare, file and serve straightforward court applications.
" Preparing draft witness statements and list of documents
" Photocopying and preparing bundles
" Prepare redaction's to documents under direction of lawyers.
" Maintaining electronic records in Case Management System
" Assist with the maintenance of core databases.
" Arranging meetings, making travel arrangements, taking minutes at team meetings
What we are looking for!
- Administration experience with a good knowledge of interested Office
- Excellent communication skills both orally and written
- 5 interested passes at Grade C or above
- Two A Level passes at grade E or above or Equivalent
- interested Management Level 3 or 4 (or suitable junior management experience)
