Job Description

Paralegal / Document Review Officer Required for an Immediate Start !!!

Location: Oxford Street, London
35 hours a week
Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £16.59ph

We are looking for an experienced paralegal to work within the investigations team, at one of the most prestigious and well know client organisations we work with, within the health-care/medical industry.

The role is a 3 month contract with possible extension the ideal candidate, expected start date is Tuesday 6th of November 2018.

As there is a rather quick turn around finding the right candidate for the role, interviews will be commencing on Monday the 5th.


Role Purpose: To provide paralegal support to the full legal team case load.
This to include conduct of investigations, supporting case presenters in preparation of cases for hearing before practice committees and the High Court, and case presentation before the practice committees.

Key

Casework

" Conduct witness statements by telephone and gather documentary evidence; draft statements and complete bundles of evidence

" Manage allocated workload effectively, efficiently and within timescales

Communication

" Draft standard and non-standard correspondence

" Provide excellent levels of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

" Liaise with case owner and the team's legal adviser to ensure effective case progression

Information management and resources

" Ensure that case files both manual and electronic contain all relevant review and investigation information

" Ensure case materials are filed as per FtP standards and library practices are adhered to

" Record and maintain all actions taken and decisions to ensure that the audit trail is clear and up to date

Essential: Previous experience with taking detailed witness statements as well as drafting and completing bundles of evidence....
