Brook Street is delighted to be partnered with a brilliant client based in Weston Super-Mare and Taunton, who is looking to onboard a Paraplanner to their firm. As a firm of Chartered Accountants, Tax Consultants and Financial Planners, our client looks to provide high-quality advice to over 5000 local and national businesses and individuals.

As a Paraplanner, you'll be responsible for carrying out a lot of the background work required for clients who are looking for support with their financial planning. The Paraplanning team as a whole research, prepare and write a wide range of reports which providie support for Consultants, and ensure the best services are delivered.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Research and technical work to support Consultants and Administrators.
• Compilation of client reports for Investments, Pensions, SIPP/SSAS & Trusts.
• Adhering to company compliance guidelines.
• Communication with clients as required.
• Fully utilise Intelligent Office system and update all client information as necessary.
• Liaise with Product Providers.
• Development and maintenance of standard reports and letters.
• Covering for colleagues when necessary (holiday/sickness cover or excessive workload).
• Attend weekly Work in Progress meetings to prioritise workloads and process business.

As a candidate you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Dip PFS or equivalent
• Strong communication skills and a focus on client care
• A sound knowledge of investments, pensions, IHT planning and centralised investment propositions
