Job Description

An exciting new opportunity has come up with our outstanding and established candidate as a Paraplanner. My client, based in Cwmbran, are looking for a Paraplanner to join their small team on a permanent basis. This role requires experience as a Paraplanner or proven experience to show capabilities to perform in the role. The salary is set from £28,000 - £38,000 per year DOE. This role offers a Hybrid working model, with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. The role can be either part-time and full-time.

What you'll do as a Paraplanner?

  • Prepare new and existing client Cashflows for annual strategy meetings.
  • Analyse client and provider data to provide tailored solutions that align with client needs and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough research and document findings in a structured format.
  • Create accurate, personalised Suitability Letters and Financial Planning reports reflecting client objectives.
  • Implement agreed-upon actions, including handling fees, allocating investments, and executing buy/sell trades.
  • Work efficiently under your own initiative with a keen attention to detail.

What we need from you?

  • GCSE grades A-C in English and Maths.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to work under pressure, and prioritise tasks.
  • Confident communication skills, comfortable interacting with clients, providers, and management.
  • Excellent IT and keyboard skills, along with a good telephone manner.
  • Relevant experience in a paraplanning role within an advisory/wealth management business.
  • Achieved or close to achieving Level 4 diploma in financial services.
