Our client is a unique company based near Surbiton and they are now looking to recruit an experienced part- qualified ACCA accountant to join their growing team

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH EITHER MANUFACTURING OR RETAIL ACCOUNTS EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOUR EXPERIENCE IS IN ACCOUNTING PRACTICE.

There are long- term career prospects to take on a more senior role in the future, but initially your role will include, but is not limited to :

• The production of Monthly Management accounts
• Accounts Payable - posting of supplier invoices, preparation of payment runs, reconciliation of supplier statements.
• Accounts Receivable - Preparation of customer invoices, posting of customer payments, issuing statements, credit control.
• Bank - reconciliation of bank accounts, posting payments and receipts.
• Stock - randomly checking stock and assisting in periodic stock checks (this role will be required in due course, but not initially).
• Petty Cash - maintaining petty cash records.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and forecasts. Budgeting.
• Payroll - collection of payroll information and submission of same (currently to our accountants, but possibly in house in due course).
• Assisting in implementation of new software.

Due to the nature of their business, outstanding communication skills are essential,as you will be liaising internationally

This is a very exciting time to join them as they bring in new accounting systems and as the company re-structures itself for the future

They are looking for someone to join them late June/early July

Salary - up to £36000 plus bonuses and good pension
