Job Description
My client, based in Baildon is looking for a part time Accounts Administrator to join their small but successful team. The hours would be 20-30 a week (negotiable) and candidates will have experience within a Finance role and ideally AAT Level 3 qualification.
Main duties
· Carrying out accounting duties in line with AAT/CIMA/HMRC best practice
· Account reconciliation
· Credit control - assist with statements and dealing with overdue accounts
· Inputting purchase invoices and creation of sales invoices
· Inputting sales/purchase order processing/delivery notes
. SAP Business 1 knowledge or similar package
Qualities required
Qualities:
· AAT Level 3, or a proven track record in this type of role, enjoying a varied workload with both the sales admin as well as accounting duties and have sufficient experience to work confidently and independently after the induction period. Plenty of support will be provided.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, including telephone manner, written English and maths, attention to detail, professional attitude, ability to follow procedures/guidelines methodically.
· A proven record of the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
· Must live within a reasonable commuting distance and be a car driver.
. A Friendly and confident personality to interact with staff, customers and suppliers.
. A flexible approach to working in terms of role and hours.
