We have an excellent opportunity available with a very well known established client, who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant.
The main duties will involve -
- Answering telephones - must have good telephone manner
- Checking invoices to differing systems
- Email correspondence
- Dealing with and resolving queries
- Inputting to spreadsheets
- Working on Sage
- Other ad hoc items
- Invoicing / VAT
- Compiling payment runs
- Calculating and inputting credit notes
This is based in the Accounts department so candidates must be good at numeracy, literacy & excel.
The candidate must be confident within Excel and must have GCSE in maths and English grade C or above.
You must have an understanding of VAT and be part qualified in AAT or time served experienced Accounts Assistant would be considered.
