Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment is recruiting a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk for our Belfast client.


Working as part of a small accounts team the ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a busy and deadline driven environment. The role will include duties for both purchase and sales ledger.

Key Accountabilities:
To include posting, coding, matching and batching supplier invoices.
Assist with preparation of monthly payment runs.
Sales Order processing.
Sales Invoicing.
Credit Control.
Dealing with customer, supplier and colleague queries.
General Office administration.

Essential Criteria:

2-3 Years previous experience in a similar role.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Prioritise workload while maintaining high standard of service.
Working knowledge of Sage accounts and MS Office.

Working Hours: 28 hours per week.

Flexible working hours of either 4 x 7 hour days or 5 x5.5 days.
Normal office hours are 9.00-5.10. Salary around £9.75 - £10 per hour but will consider slightly more for the right candidate.
