Job Description

We are currently recruiting for part time Admin Assistants for one of our government departments in Liverpool City Centre. These are exciting opportunities working from 5pm until 9pm Monday - Friday. The pay for these positions is £7.83 per hour going up to £8.72 per hour after 12 weeks. These positions are to start in January 2019.

Key Responsibilities may include:

o To provide administrative support to the operational command unit in delivering a range of services.
o To co-ordinate and move applications, letters and files within and to other offices
o To record file movements and application data through input to Computer Systems.
o To maintain pigeon holes, filing in strict alphabetical order.
o To link incoming queries with relevant application forms / case files and pass to officer for processing.
o To ensure that scheduled daily tasks are identified and actioned.
o To correctly despatch correspondence to customers including appropriate enclosures and using correct mail services.
o To data input and print legal documentation.
o To undertake post opening duties.
o To adhere to Policies and Procedures
o Maintain security and confidentiality at all times
o To work flexibly and provide support to other operational colleagues / areas as required
o To take responsibility for one`s own attendance, performance and personal development
