Job Description

The Ministry of Justice - Admin Officer - Part time
Location: Scarborough Justice Centre
Salary: 9.06ph to 9.78ph after 12 weeks
Hours: 3 days per week

Tuesday - Thursday (9am - 5pm)

This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements. All training will be provided for the role.

Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a part time Administration Officer to join the Team at the Scarborough Justice Centre with our client, The Ministry of Justice based in Scarborough. The role will include working as part of a flexible team. You will be trained to Host remote hearings and working in the general office.

Responsibilities include:
- Answering phones and covering customer service counter
- Looking after Inbox
- Drawing the final decisions/order on the standalone "GAPS" system
- Using the Case Management system
- Processing work
- Extracting and filing away files
- General Office Administration

-Dealing with confidential information and taking payments from customers

What we are looking for:
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong customer service skills essential and recent administration
- Ability to work on your own initiative and unsupervised
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent sickness record
