My client is looking for a part time Bookkeeper to join their small team as soon as possible!

Brook Street is pleased to be able to offer the position of a Bookkeeper with a small independent Tax and Accountant Practice in the South. Their independent, successful and close nit team are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team as soon as possible! The role needs someone who is qualified to AAT Level 2 with experience using sage packages including Sage Payroll. Do you have these skills? Then keep reading!

Who's right for the job?

The job will be fast paced from the get go, where you will need to be organised, meticulous and self-motivated from day 1. You will have an excellent phone manner and be comfortable in dealing with multiple tasks at the same time. As this is a role in a shared office, we are looking for someone friendly and positive to join the team. Some strong knowledge within tax compliance would be beneficial but is not essential; however you will need to have a high attention to detail and good all round knowledge of Sage Packages.

The responsibilities of the role:

• Preparation of final accounts
• Tax compliance for sole traders and limited companies
• Process payroll in a timely manner
• Provide support when required

In return for your hard work, our client offers a competitive salary of £18,000 to £25,000, depending on experience. There is also a comprehensive benefits package to go alongside this. Working hours are Monday - Friday on a 20 hour Part Time basis.
