Job Description
Our client in Skipton are currently looking for a Part Time Bookkeeper to join their company on a permanent basis.
You'll be joining a busy company, experiencing a period of growth. A fantastic opportunity for a flexible bookkeeper to join a company that can offer longevity and flexible hours. There is scope for the role to become full time/job share in the future.
Based at their head office in Skipton you will aid the accountant with the bookkeeping for 3 business, duties will include:
- Purchase ledger processing
- Sales ledger processing
- Credit Control
- Banking
- Monitoring three bank accounts (electronic banking)
- Processing supplier and other payments on BACS system / Cheques
- Bank reconciliations
- Control Account Reconciliations
- Expenses processing
- VAT Returns
- Processing property rent and service charge statements onto Sage
- Processing payroll
We're looking for a bookkeeper with experience preparing accounts to Trial Balance, alongside experience processing or preparing Payroll.
Our client uses Sage Accounting software, experience within this is essential.
Our client offers, a salary of £20,000 - £25,000 (pro rata)
Flexible Part Time hours of 20 - 30 hours to suit
Onsite parking
Centrally located offices.
