Are you flexible and looking for a new part time role? We are looking for an experienced support worker to provide first class support to a 3 year old child in Huyton with complex needs.

Our client is a leading provider of Complex Care for children and young people in the North West. They have a number of residential services and also provide at home support to a number of families and children.

In this role you will be providing support to a 3 year old child who has complex needs. These include a tracheostomy , PEG Feeding and Home Oxygen. The role is part time at 30 hours a week.

To be successful for this role you will be flexible as the role will initially be waking nights. The hours for these shifts will be 23:00-08:00 allowing for a handover from the parents. After a few weeks the role is likely to change into a daytime role as you will be required to take the child to nursery.

Support through the night will include observations, complex care, some personal care in the morning and emotional support.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in complex health needs as full training will be provided by the client. The client will also put the successful applicant through the NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People qualification free of charge. The pay rate for this opportunity is £8.75/hour.
