Job Description

Brook Street has an opportunity for a Part Time Communications Assistant to join a fantastic employer on a temporary basis. The hours of work can either be 9:30 - 5:30 Monday and Tuesday OR 9:30 - 5:30 Tuesday and Thursday. This role is expected to last a month

What will you do as Communications Assistant?

  • Assist the team with campaign and marketing activity
  • Create presentations, documents, reports, and external communications using digital graphics and desktop publishing software
  • Support the organisation of events and activities
  • Write and edit communications content, including website news stories and social media posts
  • Liaise with internal and external supplies to ensure communications work is delivered on time

What type of skills/experience do I need to be considered for this role?

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience of communication with a range of audiences
  • Experience of and confident in daily use of digital media in communications, including social media
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Work as part of a team and independently under your own initiative
  • The ability to handle multiple projects
