We're working with a busy Halifax based company, to find a Finance Officer to join their friendly team.
This is a great opportunity for an accounts assistant to join a thriving business and work in a busy and multifaceted role.
Within the role you will work alongside the wider finance team, ensuring that all internal and external customer queries are handled swiftly and professionally.
This is a part time role working 16 hours a week (flexibility on hours & days)
As the Finance Officer, your duties will include:
Acting as first point of contact for the finance team, answering incoming calls and aiding customers and other departments with queries
Monitoring finance inbox, making sure all queries are resolved quickly and accurately
Reconciling volume contract invoices
Supplier invoice recording & monitoring
Daily reconciliation of bank account items to nominal ledger
Daily update of online banking system, posting to Sage
Sales Ledger receipt allocations
Processing electronic payments
We're looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills; you'll need a professional manner and understand the importance of sharing information in a timely manner.
Previous experience within accounts is essential, with experience with invoice reconciliation.
Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy is also essential within the role.
Experience within Sage Accountancy software is highly desirable.
You'll need a positive and helpful attitude to excel in this role!
In return our client is offering a salary between £11.00 - £13.00 per hour dependent on experience.
