Job Description
Brook Street is working with our client in Bangor to recruit a Part Time Finance Coordinator
The Finance Coordinator will be responsible to provide financial support to the various departments in the finance function, primarily in relation to the maintenance of Control accounts and administration of the payment systems
As Finance Coordinator, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting the Finance Department in all aspects of finance administration
Duties
Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
Reconciliation of inter-company accounts
Maintenance of petty cash accounts
Maintenance of credit card accounts
Bank account reconciliations
Recording of supplier invoices
Monthly supplier reconciliation and payments of supplier invoices
Inter company invoicing
Preparation of accruals and prepayments
Assisting in the financial year end process
Criteria
Formal Bookkeeping/Accounting qualification
At least 3 years recent experience in a similar role
Previous experience of Sage Line 50 - to specifically include: extensive posting to nominal ledger
Proven experience in reconciliations, preferably a wide variety
Proficient in MS Excel Experience of Microsoft Word and Outlook
Strong organisational capabilities and ability to meet strict deadlines
Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: £23,541-£25,481 pro-rata
