Showroom Host

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Motor industry client to recruit a Showroom Host. This is an open-ended temporary role based in Bracknell and Reading. Ideally we need someone who is flexible and willing to cover ad hoc holidays for our client in their Reading and Bracknell locations.

Salary & Hours: £8.87 per hour. Weekly hours may vary as this role will be covering reception staff on sick leave or holiday.

Job Description
Our client is looking for a friendly Showroom Host to join their lively team.

As a Showroom Host, you will be the first point of contact for potential and existing customers. You will be responsible for greeting everyone coming into the showroom with a welcoming attitude, being proactive and reactive to any requests a customer may have.

As the first face of the company, you must be presentable and ready to represent the company brand with a positive and confident attitude.

Key Responsibilities
" Meet and greet walk-in customers and answer any queries they may have.
" Responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls, directing calls to the correct department and taking detailed messages.
" Management of customer keys and showroom keys.
" Administrative tasks; filing, delivering post, managing the visitor book, manage staff attendance, and control all email/telephone correspondence.
" Light housekeeping to make sure the showroom is always presentable

Candidate Requirements
" Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
" Presentable and professional manner
" Friendly and confident with the ability to direct queries appropriately
" Able to work independently but have a team focused attitude
" Proactive and reactive, able to predict customer needs and expectations
" Unafraid to jump in and get involved

" Reception, administrative, or hosting experience is greatly appreciated
" Computer literate; experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook
