Job Description

Our client, based in the City Insurance district near the Lloyds building , are Underwriters in a very niche market .

They have only 2 staff in their London office and are looking to recruit a part time administrative assistant to support them.

The role is for 3 days per week or shorter hours every day but they are very flexible and will consider half days /late starts/early finishes.

Ideally we are looking for someone with an Insurance background but they are open minded on this - you will be supporting the Underwriters in the quote life cycle using their in house system.

You will provide general administration support -this will include keeping accounts up to date, electronic filing, survey requests, following up diary items and chasing brokers for overdue payments.

We need someone with strong practical skills and the ability to think on their feet. You must enjoy working with numbers as well as have strong Excel skills.

This is a small team of 2 at present so the `fit` is so important-they need someone personable, friendly and professional but who can also get their head down to get the work done.
