Job Description

We currently have a new Part-Time permanent job available working for a leading, award winning Estate Agents in multiple areas around Essex as an Inventory Clerk. You will be located in the Brentwood area, however you may be asked to travel to other areas within Essex on occasion. The company has a fantastic training plan in place and they really look after their employees which has enabled them to expand and build a fantastic reputation.

The Part-Time Inventory Clerk roles offer a guaranteed basic salary circa £11,500, with bonuses available as well. In addition to this you will receive a number of other benefits and be working for an established and well known company. You will be required to work from 8:30am to 5:30pm for 3 days a week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday's, however you may be required to do a Saturday on occasions, for which you will be given a day off in lieu as compensation. Some other overtime may be required, and a flexible approach to work is required for this role.

If successful, you will be preparing detailed Inventories (Condition Reports) and conducting routine visits to rental properties. This will also include check out inspections upon expiry of a tenancy. Where disputes arise, you would also be responsible for attempting to negotiate a mutually acceptable settlement. The role will involve dealing with occasional disputes between landlords and tenants, so a strong personality is essential for this job.

To be considered for this role, we are ideally looking to find someone local to Brentwood with experience as an Inventory Clerk or someone familiar with Property Management in a Lettings environment. However, we will also accept applications from people who have good Customer Services Experience, as well as strong Administrations experience and a confident personality. Please note, driving is essential for this role, and you must have a Full UK Driving Licence to be considered.
