Job Description

A well-established large national organization are recruiting for a part time Senior Care Assistant for their extra care service (community-based role) in Knowle, South Bristol. You will be supporting Elderly clients who have who have dementia, frail, enabling and general nursing needs with no challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Support clients with everyday duties i.e. cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Manage them through their Care Plans (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
- Accompany them out & about in the community i.e bank appointments, health visits etc
- Administrate and collect medications & prescriptions
- Full personal care will be required

Contract / Terms:
- Salary is £10,296 - £10,712 per annum = £9.90 - £10.30 an hour
- Pay raise to £10.30 an hour + £100 welcome bonus after 6 month`s probation
- Part time 20 hours a week, Monday to Fridays with alternative weekends
- Shifts patterns are: 7am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 4pm- 10pm, 6pm - 10pm
- On call duties paid at £10 per day Monday - Friday and £50 on Saturdays & Sundays
- 30p per mile + travel time (this may not be relevant to yourself)

Qualifying candidates:
- Must have senior experience (will consider care assistants who have stepped into senior role)
- Have a Diploma / NVQ / QCF level 2 or above or be working towards one
- You will need to be a driver with your own car
