Job Description
Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Ballyclare to recruit a Part Time Training Administrator
This position will initially be part time preferably five mornings a week although there is some flexibility with the shifts and it could potentially develop into a full time role over time
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Liaising with our in the house Training Manager to schedule training activities and communicate training details to attendees and other appropriate parties in a timely fashion
* Maintaining electronic and paper based training records and ensuring these are kept up to date (trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets, evaluation questionnaires etc)
* Updating the Volvo learning Management System (starters, leavers, courses completed etc)
* Follow up with apprentices following block release to determine and action nature of jobs required to demonstrate skills learnt for their evidence portfolio
* Liaise with external training bodies in relation to our apprenticeship training provision and be involved in audits of our training provision
* Provide prompt reports on training activities, trainee progress and results
* Prepare and issue any required training materials in advance
* Keeping track of training expiry dates and scheduling refresher training in advance
* Act as a point of contact for training and apprentice queries
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
* Other duties which may be required from time to time depending on business needs
Person Specification Qualifications, Experience Required
* Must possess strong administration and organisational skill
* Must have excellent IT skills with demonstrable experience of Microsoft Office applications
* Previous experience in an administration role within a fast-paced environment is essential
* Previous experience of using Learning Management Systems is strongly desirable
* Previous experience of working/liaising with training organisations would be desirable
* Possess the ability to prioritise, organise and manage a busy workload
* Must be a fast learner and can work on own initiative
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the business internally and externally
* Must understand the importance of confidentiality and be trustworthy with sensitive information
* Possess a flexible and proactive working attitude
* Possess a full driving licence
