Our client based very close to the centre of Cardiff an organisation that work focuses around helping public services work better throughout Wales is looking for a Welsh speaking Front of House Part Time Administrator for 3 full days per week, the company is flexible of the days of work
This post will provide administrative support to staff and provide front of house services.
Functions of this post
" Welcoming visitors to the offices in Cardiff;
" Being the first point of contact for callers to the main telephone number and responding to these appropriately;
" Managing diaries (using Microsoft Outlook);
" Arranging meetings with internal and external colleagues;
" Arranging necessary meeting facilities, including room bookings, arranging refreshments/lunches;
" Collating information ahead of meetings where necessary;
" Making any necessary travel and accommodation arrangements;
" Undertaking basic finance functions such as raising purchase orders; arranging payments etc.;
" Providing admin support to our HR function;
Our client is looking for a friendly, approachable, motivated and enthusiastic individual, a numerate candidate who has strong organisational and administrative skills and a focus on customer service.
You will be able to work in a small organisation and communicate with a variety of people. You will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. An understanding of the importance of confidentiality will be important in this role.
The successful candidate will be self-confident and will have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in both English and Welsh.
The ability to work effectively in both English and Welsh is essential for this post.
