Job Description

Do you have experience within payroll? Are you currently working in an accountancy practice or a similar environment processing payroll? Do you want to be working for an award winning company?

You will be working for a well-established accountancy practice based in Peterborough that offer some great perks and benefits such as free parking, reward scheme, sick pay, quarterly functions and events, training package & much more.

In this position, you will be processing payroll and auto enrolment duties on behalf of the company`s clients. You will also be adding new payroll clients to the system and creating their account with HMRC, calculating holiday pay, issuing payslips to employees, ensuring the weekly and monthly submissions of auto enrolment pensions, liaising with pension scheme providers and dealing with payroll enquiries from all clients.

It is essential you have experience running multiple payrolls and looking after your own client base, have an extensive knowledge of payroll systems, work well under pressure and able to work well as a team and as an individual. It is desirable that you have a knowledge and understanding of Sage payroll, have experience using the accounting software `Xero` and CIPP qualified.

To add onto this exciting position with some excellent benefits and rewards, you will earn a competitive salary of between £20,000 to £22,000, which can be negotiated depending on your experience and qualifications.
