The Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Department - Payroll
Location - Hessle
Houses of work - Monday to Friday (40 hours)
The Job Description:
Brook Street are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator for our client in Hessle. As a Payroll Administrator, you will embed into a busy team providing Payroll Administration to clients.
Role involves;
- Receiving client's timesheets information and transfer to our bespoke payroll software
- Analysis of timesheet information and production of invoices, credit notes etc.
- Solving payroll issues to ensure accurate payroll is completed
- Process of payroll by deadline given
- Conversion of timesheets data
- Liaising with agency clients providing the highest standard of customer service
- Adhere to tax law
- Admin of deduction from earnings orders
- Admin of employee pensions rights
- Admin of state benefits
- Maintenance of payroll information & records in accordance with statutory requirements
- Meeting turnaround standards
- Achievement of customer service standards
- Effective development of complex queries
Personal specification required;
- You will need to be highly organised
- Previous experience as a payroll administrator for 2 years
- Knowledge of PAYE is advantageous
- Multi-tasking payroll administrator
- Remain calm under pressure
- Understanding of Microsoft Packages
Essential;
- GCSE Maths / English Grade C or Above
- Discretion
- Payroll Admin experience
- Advance knowledge of excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Formulas, formatting and filters
- Team Player
- Examples of problem solving
- Sense of urgency
