The Job Description:

Brook Street are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator for our client in Hessle. As a Payroll Administrator, you will embed into a busy team providing Payroll Administration to clients.

Role involves;

• Receiving client's timesheets information and transfer to our bespoke payroll software
• Analysis of timesheet information and production of invoices, credit notes etc.
• Solving payroll issues to ensure accurate payroll is completed
• Process of payroll by deadline given
• Conversion of timesheets data
• Liaising with agency clients providing the highest standard of customer service
• Adhere to tax law
• Admin of deduction from earnings orders
• Admin of employee pensions rights
• Admin of state benefits
• Maintenance of payroll information & records in accordance with statutory requirements
• Meeting turnaround standards
• Achievement of customer service standards
• Effective development of complex queries

Personal specification required;

• You will need to be highly organised
• Previous experience as a payroll administrator for 2 years
• Knowledge of PAYE is advantageous
• Multi-tasking payroll administrator
• Remain calm under pressure
• Understanding of Microsoft Packages

Essential;

• GCSE Maths / English Grade C or Above
• Discretion
• Payroll Admin experience
• Advance knowledge of excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Formulas, formatting and filters
• Team Player
• Examples of problem solving
• Sense of urgency
