Brook Street is currently recruiting for a temporary Payroll Assistant to join our team immediately.

Job Title - Payroll Assistant
Location - Warwick
Pay - £8.72 per hour
Contract - Temporary 6months
Job Purpose
As part of the Payroll Services Team, the post holder will be the main contact, responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative support service. The postholder will be professional, provide consistent and timely Payroll support and advice to all internal customers and external Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs). The post holder will provide a streamlined high-quality payroll administration service and associated HR Transactional process.

The postholder will support the Payroll Team in developing appropriate systems and processes to ensure that the organisation can maintain and develop the ESR/ Payroll inputting to meet the ongoing needs of a continuously changing organisation
Duties
" Provide administrative support to the Payroll Team and the wider HR team; using self-initiative and judgement as required
" Create high quality documents including inputting and amending data in to systems, updating relevant databases within ESR and assisting with the compilation of missing workforce information
" Ensure all e-filing is carried out in a timely and efficient manner ensuring information is kept up to date in line with agreed guidelines and legal requirements
" Maintain all e-Personnel Files ensuring they contain relevant and up to date information.
" Participate in Payroll Services meetings and training sessions as appropriate
" Demonstrate a commitment to personal development, including the acquisition and sharing of knowledge
" The post holder may be required to undertake any other duties as directed which are consistent with the role being undertaken. Please note that these duties are not exhaustive. They are subject to on-going review in conjunction with the post holder and the changing needs of customers
" The post holder is required to comply with and actively promote the organisation's Equal Opportunities Policy

The successful candidate will have the following;
" Experience working within a payroll or finance position
" Excellent Administration skills
" Able to work in a pressurised environment
" Excellent attention to details
" Able to pick up and learn new systems
