Working in the heart of the historic town of St Albans you will be working within one of the UKs leading charities.
Purpose of the role:
You will be reporting into the payroll manager working within a team of 4. You will be processing monthly payroll for allocated departments of the business.
-You will be helping to run day to day payroll within agreed timelines
-You will liaise with departments ensuring payroll data is received and correct.
-Have great eye for detail ensuring overtime is payed accurately
-You will calculate pro rata payment for starters, leavers and temporary staff.
-Help prepare monthly statistics and reports
-Control salary cancellation, changes and recalls.
-Processing Monthly payment to 3rd party providers
The ideal candidate:
-Must have a background of two years within payroll
-Have working knowledge of PAYE, NIC, SMP RTI
This is a permanent role Monday to Friday 9-5 with standard Holiday and parking on site.
