Reporting to: Finance Manager
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 p/a dependent upon experience
Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5/9-6 but the first and last hour are flexi

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant on behalf of a successful insurance company based near West Malling. Your role will be within the Finance Team but will also work closely with Human Resources. This is the ideal opportunity for someone with payroll experience looking for a challenging but rewarding new role that also incorporates some HR administration.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing the company payroll accurately for over 200 employees; including employees on shifts, part time hours, contracted staff and timesheets. You will also be the main point of contact between their business and the payroll bureau, therefore strong written and verbal communications skills are essential. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing employee benefits including processing pension, overtime, sickness and holiday. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong numeracy skills.
