Job Description

Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of their esteemed public sector client in Edinburgh.

Our client is recruiting for a Payroll and Pensions Officer to join their team in Edinburgh.
Monday - Friday.
£10.02/hour, which will increase after 12 weeks on assignment.

Duties Include:

Administer the running of monthly payroll, and ensuring all payroll is completed according to strict deadlines.
Processing change of hours contracts. Dealing with maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave cases.
Overseeing the input and audit of absence reports.
Managing pension and HR queries

Essential Criteria:

Knowledge and experience of payroll processes and legislation
Ability to analyse, evaluate and collate information using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and formula, in addition to data from disparate sources.
Strong Understanding of Tax
Organised and self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to strict
