Payroll Assistant

Coventry

£ Excellent Salary + Pension + attractive benefits!!

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join an established business based in the heart of Coventry, they`re focus is on maintaining a positive and friendly work environment where overtime is the exception and NOT the rule.

This role will involve you carrying out the following:

Processing multiple payrolls

Inputting gross pay elements, absence & SSP records, parental pay records, pension information, statutory deductions, other deductions, salary sacrifice information

Filing of full payment submissions and employment payment submissions to H M Revenue and Customs

Uploading of pension deductions to pension websites

Advising clients of the regulations regarding paying employees including basic employment law, auto enrolment into pension schemes and H M Revenue and Customs rules


This is an amazing opportunity for anyone with the following:

Experience processing multiple payrolls

Confident providing guidance on National insurance and tax queries

Confident calculating deductions and also understanding the regulations governing payroll.

You will ideally come from a 2-4 partner firm or from an industry background of preparing payrolls.
