Brook Street Recruitment is seeking a Seasoned Payroll Operations Specialist for a distinguished client in Lisburn. Position Summary
As a Seasoned Payroll Operations Specialist, you will oversee payroll services for a diverse client base of 150+ organisations (encompassing over 1000 employees).

Core Duties

• Orchestrate efficient payroll processing (including Auto-enrolment) for an extensive client portfolio.
• Facilitate timely submission of all required reports to HMRC, the Pension Regulator, and various pension providers.
• Communicate financial obligations to clients regarding HMRC and pension provider payments.
• Serve as a liaison between the company, HMRC, and pension providers.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance internal operational procedures.
• You may have junior staff members assisting you, and initially, a certified accountant will provide oversight. However, you will ultimately assume full responsibility for managing the company's entire payroll portfolio.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications:

• 1-3 years minimum hands-on experience with Sage and Xero payroll systems (preferably including Irish payroll processing and CIS submissions)
• Proven track record in managing all aspects of client payroll requirements, including Auto-enrolment
• Robust technical understanding of complex payroll queries and issues, with a commitment to staying current on legislative changes
• Demonstrated ability to manage large client portfolios
• Preferably, experience in supervising junior payroll staff or administrators

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: £26,000 - £34,000 pro-rata (dependent on experience and capabilities)
