Payroll Clerk - PT
The salary is £14593pa based on a 26-hour working week, and my client can offer some degree of flexibility regarding working hours
You will be joining a small but friendly HR department situated in one of Telford's industrial estates. My client sits within the manufacturing sector and are part of an established international business.
You will be dealing with a monthly payroll and will need experience in the following:
Sage Payroll experience
Have experience of dealing with HMRC & pension submissions
Be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Excel
Have worked in a Payroll environment for at least 1 year
Be able to demonstrate good solid data entry speeds & accuracy levels
Have effective communication skills as you will liaise with employees & heads of departments.
Ensure the T&A system is accurately maintained
Deal with pay queries from employees and heads of department.
Answer employee queries regarding pay
Assist with audits
Issue electronic & paper payslips
Check new starts are set up correctly and all relevant documentation received.
Provide general admin support to the HR Manager
