Job Description

Are you a self-motivated, professional individual?

If so, my client based in St Albans is seeking a Payroll Manager who has a minimum 5 year background in a similar position, to oversee their busy payroll department and manage a small team to provide an outstanding service to the firm`s payroll clients.

As a Payroll Manager, you will be a self-motivated, hands-on, flexible and a professional individual to help shape and develop their payroll function, as well as the wider outsourcing offering of the firm, focusing on strategy and introducing new efficiencies. You will be overseeing the firm`s payroll function and working closely with the outsourcing department to assist development and growth.

You will need to be efficient with MS Office and either used STAR payroll, SAGE payroll or equivalent. You must be keen to take on responsibility and ownership when dealing with all levels of people and be well organised with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. A payroll qualification would be favourable.

The salary is £40-£45k with flexible working hours, 28 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday, Pension 4-5% matching contribution.
