Job Description

Job title: Payroll Officer
Contract: 6 months with possible extension
Location: fully remote (Must have own laptop and internet)
Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours a week
Pay: £11.53

Job summary:
Maintenance of the employee master file records including personal and pay data, ensuring that all master file data is up to date in accordance with operational requirements. Ensurung compliance with statutory requirements

Essential: Must have experience of Payroll. Experience of working with information technology using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), or equivalent Systems.)

Duties:
- Setting up new starters
- Terminating employees
- Employee changes
- Processing payments and deductions
- Parental Leave
- Overpayment handling

What we are looking for:
- Knowledge of PAYE and benefit in kind processes, procedures and regulations would be desirable
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Knowledge of Pensions Scheme regulations would be desirable

Necessary ID:
- In date Passport OR birth certificate paired with driving license/provisional
- 2x proof of address
- 1x proof of NI
